Dome storm lock

After installing the dome‑slit opening motor, I still had to climb the ladder to secure the dome‑slit closer against strong winds. Until now, I did that with two elastic straps, one at the top and one at the bottom. To improve this, I added a locking pin to the dome‑slit closer and drilled a matching hole in the panel that holds the dome‑slit motor. When the dome closes, the pin slides into the hole, preventing the closer from lifting. At the lower side, I mounted a small block on the dome and a hook on the closer. When the dome shuts, the hook catches behind the block, so the closer cannot rise in strong winds..
